One of our clients, The American Red Cross / Dallas Chapter, is searching for a Senior Corporate Relations Officer to join their Development team immediately. This person will manage a portfolio to identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective corporations to expand their financial support of the work of the American Red Cross with a focus on gifts of $100,000 or more. He/she will be responsible for creating diverse relationships, with specific strategic plans for each donor/prospect for engaging the entire mission of the American Red Cross. The Senior Corporate Relations Officer will, among other things, manage a portfolio of donors and prospects with a minimum annual fundraising goal of $600,000 as specified in performance standards, including both renewable gifts and new incremental revenue.
Experience/Qualifications
We are searching for someone who has a minimum of 5 years of major gift leadership experience (note: corporate and/or business to business sales leadership experience may be substituted for fundraising experience). Significant expertise with Dallas' funding community, as well as progressive experience in successful development programs and knowledge of best practices in development, is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is highly desirable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
