One of our clients, The American Red Cross / Dallas Chapter, is searching for a Foundations and Grant Associate to join their Development team immediately. This person will maintain a personal portfolio of foundation donors. They will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective foundations in order to expand their financial support of the work of the American Red Cross and are responsible for meeting an annual revenue target by working with an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects to advance the mission of the organization and assist donors in creating meaning in their lives through giving to the American Red Cross. The Foundations and Grant Associate will, among other things, be responsible for a minimum annual fundraising goal of $200,000 as specified in performance standards, including both renewable gifts and new incremental revenue.
Experience/Qualifications
We are searching for someone who has a minimum of 2 years of major gift leadership experience (note: corporate and/or business to business sales leadership experience may be substituted for fundraising experience). Significant expertise with Dallas' funding community, as well as progressive experience in successful development programs and knowledge of best practices in development, is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is highly desirable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
