Overview:
The Workday/HRIS Sr. Specialist works on assignments that are diverse in nature where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals in accordance with established policies. Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures and practices, with the ability to determine best methods and procedures.
This person will be responsible for the implementation of the reporting functionality of Workday, including mapping delivered Workday reporting to existing reporting requirements and building custom reports. This person will also assist with other areas of the Workday implementation, such as configuration and testing, data gathering and security roles mapping and assignments.
Following implementation, this person will be a member of a small HRIS team supporting Workday.

Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for the implementation of the reporting functionality of Workday, including mapping delivered Workday reporting to existing reporting requirements and building custom reports. This person will also assist with other areas of the Workday implementation:
Configuration and testing of HCM and Benefits business processes, such as onboarding, position changes, and terminations. Data gathering for Benefits and Absence Management Security roles mapping and assignments
Following implementation this person will be a member of a small HRIS team supporting Workday.
Responsibilities include:
Creating/modifying reports and dashboards to meet changing needs of the business Maintain/Support HCM business processes Maintain/Assign security role assignments Troubleshoot errors encountered by end-users Support Payroll when HR data integrity creates challenges with Payroll run Assist in testing of new releases Assist in implementation of additional functionality as required Liaison with HRIT team when required for modifications to integrations, EIBs, etc.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. Good problem solving, organizational, and communication skills, plus knowledge of state and federal laws regarding Human Resources, are also required. This position requires strong Workday knowledge and experience in creating complex reports (standard and custom reports, BIRT, calculated fields). This position also requires expert Excel and database knowledge as well as experience in all aspects of HR reporting. Prior PeopleSoft HCM experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have already completed the following Workday Training:
HCM Fundamentals Workday Core Concepts Workday Report Writer, Workday Calculated Fields, Advanced Reporting and Analytics OR Workday Reporting: Basics to Analytics Custom Fields: Configuration & Administration Workday Report Designer (BIRT) Configurable Security Fundamentals Business Process Fundamentals HCM Transactions Onboarding in WorkdayEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
