Telecommute policy:
Client pays for the following - You work, on-site, your first 2 weeks to meet the team. After this, you only have to come in one week per quarter. Client is located in the Great Lakes area but, again, you can live in any city in the USA.
Technical requirements:
You make your living as a Progress developer and have a minimum of 5 years Progress programming Must have CHUI, GUI, and OpenEdge If you have programmed software using Progress (ie QAD, Mfg/Pro, Symix, etc), this will work.
Duties:
. Work with other Progress engineers/developers, Progress DBA's, architects, QA, system engineers and product managers in solving new and existing technical issues
. Understand requirements, implement designs, provide administration tools, and documentation for specific projects
. Perform regular on-call duties
. Participate in Progress design and code reviews
. Follow and enhance existing Progress development processes
. Measure and verify that new and old Progress code has acceptable performance and scalability
. Maintain ownership of the projects assigned
. Consistently meet project deadlinesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
