Overview:
Performs service, repair and/or installation of company product(s) including system hardware, software, PCs and Point of Sale (POS) equipment. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Serves as customer contact on technical and service related problems. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures. Determines most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system.
In this position you will go to client sites within a 3 hour radius of your home to support named accounts and regular dispatch. There may be times a tech is needed in another area, thus may go outside the radius. There are 3 work schedules; Four 10 hour days Friday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday. The other option is to work after hours 3pm to Midnight Monday thru Friday, Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities:
Represents CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
Interacts with customer responding to technical questions or request for information.
Processes timely and accurate information to ensure compliance with warranty requirements of vendors.
Maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving all tangible problems and concerns.
Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support. This includes service that exceeds response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issue that could impact customer satisfaction.
Primarily provides Tier 2 & 3 level support
Performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment.
Performs basic computer hardware and software installations.
Provide extensive repair and troubleshooting of Xerox Printers.
Other duties as assigned Printer support and repair including
HP and Lexmark printer support a plus

Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience, high school diploma, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.

Net
certification
Retail Service and Self Checkout Device Experience preferred.
Prior Xerox experience and certification
Must be willing to go on a lift and fix Access Points when necessary throughout the Store locations
Ability to work independently and set priorities
Customer service skills
Must have Clean Driving record Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
