Summary:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews specification as related to assigned job. Prepares check list. Prepares lay:
outs. Prepares structural sub assemblies and drawings. Prepares sketches for details. Checks all detail drawings as prepared by drafters. Reviews drawing package to assure conformance to requirements. Submits completed drawings to project lead for approval and release. Liaison for assigned task. . PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors, and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, typing, ten key, fax, copy machine etc. Bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job. Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and skills:
Must have excellent drafting skills in CADAM and/or Pro/Engineer. Must be a
ble to interact successfully with engineering, tooling, and manufacturing departments. Must be able to function as part of a design team. Must have a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. Education and/or
Experience:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical (or Mechanical Technology), Electrical (or Electrical Technology), Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent based on education/training and/or experience. One year design experience required. Three to five years related design experience preferred. Communication Skills:
Reasoning Ability:
