The Surgical Telemetry Unit is a 35 bed unit in the new Hamon Tower.
We specialize in the care of cardiovascular surgical patients, thoracic surgical patients, vascular surgical patients, cath lab patients, heart failure patients, pace makers, and all cardiac conditions.
This unit is a high acuity telemetry unit that signifies a reduced nurse to patient ratio.
In order to qualify for this the following criteria must be met:
Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred 3 years medical/surgical experience or 1 year telemetry experience Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas BLS Certification ACLS within 30 day hire CPR Certification Preferred

BSN Preferred Prefer previous charge nurse experience 1 year of progressive cardiac care - 401(k) Retirement Plan - Health Care Benefits - Wellness Program - Tuition Reimbursement - Life Insurance - AD and D Insurance - Disability Coverage - Long Term Care Insurance - Other
