Job Description:
Outsource is looking to hire Structured Cabling Technicians for both short and long termpositionsthroughout the DFWarea.
We have needs for technicians of all skills levels (Cable Pullers up to Project Managers).
Experienced cable technicians will have significant exposure to the following:
Pulling and terminating CAT5/ CAT6 in commercial environments.
Fiber experience (Including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, Splicing).
Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels.
Testing cables.
Troubleshooting networking issues.
Familiar with BICSI, EIA, TIA and NEC Standards a plus.
Requirements:
Must own your own basic tools.
Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and reference check.
Nice to haves:
Telecom Certifications including:
BISCI, RCDD, Panduit, Leviton, etc.
