Job Description Minimum
Qualifications:
o Must be a U.
S.
citizen or have the required authorization to work in the U.
S.
o Must have the ability to read, write and Speak English.
o Must have knowledge of office administration and procedures.
o Must be competent in conflict management and negotiation skills.
o Must be proficient in relevant computer applications.
o Must have the ability to develop effective working relationships.
o Must have good communication skills.
o Must be capable of maintaining accurate records.
Job
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
o Receiving and inputting inbound purchase orders into Mcleod, the transportation program.
o Maintaining records for transport such as Bills of Lading, Purchase Orders, Freight Claims, Driver Logs, Expense Reports, Taxes, etc.
o Ensuring the alignment between third party partners and distribution centers to fulfill customer needs.
Inspects all aspects District transportation services for the purpose of ensuring that transportation activities are completed efficiently, and within regulatory requirements.
o Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking shipments.
o Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints or issues with freight.
o Handling freight claims ensuring that all documentation is gathered and processed in order to create a claim packet, forwarding a copy of the packet to the carrier as well as accounts payable.
o Keeping weekly driver logs for auditing.
o Reviewing, verifying, calculating and submitting driver expense reports to accounts payable for payment; then filing them in transportation.
o Implementing and enforcing adherence to GMP practices.
o Enforcing all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
o Responsible for any task assigned by management.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
