School Outreach Assistant

Job description The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's North Texas Chapter is seeking part-time school outreach assistants to work 20-25 hours a week assisting the School & Youth program.
A clear, concise speaking voice, strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent telephone skills required.
An enthusiastic, sincere, mission-oriented personality is beneficial to the success of the position.
Responsibilities:
Work 20 - 25 hours/week at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's office in Dallas Communicate with a high volume of schools to get them registered for the Pennies for Patients service project Accurately enter data and maintain school records in database Attend and Participate in weekly goal setting meetings Maintain a working knowledge of the School & Youth Programs, LLS, and its mission Perform other duties as assigned Preferred
Qualifications:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
