Job Description OS Staffing Solutions (OSS) has been tasked with sourcing a Software Security Engineer
Responsibilities:
Create/sustain Software Security best practices and policy while maintaining coverage and corporate policy and regulatory.
Assist Software Security activities for waterfall, agile, and other development processes.
Define security architecture and design direction for business line technology platforms.
Work with software architects to influence secure design and implementation.
Knowledge of common application security controls like the Enterprise Security API (ESAPI).
Security Technical Skills:
Experience with software methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
Experience with Threat Modeling.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills.
Experience with multiple development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and secure code reviews.
Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, GSSP-JAVA preferred.
Required Skills:

years of Software Development experience Experience with programming languages such as Java,.
Net, ColdFusion, PHP, etc.
Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and secure code reviews.
