Summary:
This position has supervisory responsibility for Xactus' Compliance Monitoring and Testing Team.
As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and internal policies.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess compliance risks, establish monitoring protocols, and identify areas for improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance monitoring and testing program to evaluate adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements, including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulations, and the credentialing standards of consumer reporting repositories like Equifax, TransUnion and Experian Conduct regular reviews of internal processes, systems, and data handling procedures to identify potential compliance gaps or deficiencies Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess and analyze compliance risks, emerging trends, and regulatory changes that impact the consumer reporting industry Design and implement monitoring protocols, including the development of key risk indicators (KRIs), testing methodologies, and sampling techniques Perform compliance testing and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, identify non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions Prepare detailed reports and documentation of compliance monitoring activities, findings, and recommendations for management and regulatory bodies Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and advancements in consumer report reselling to proactively identify areas for improvement and enhance the compliance framework Performs other duties as assigned Position Requirements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the Compliance Monitoring and Testing Department within Compliance EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Advanced degree or professional certifications in compliance, risk management, or a relevant discipline is a plus.
Five years' experience in credit reporting industry or related area SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Proven experience (5 years) in compliance monitoring, testing, or auditing, preferably within the consumer reporting industry or a related financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and other consumer protection laws and regulations.
Strong understanding of Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian credentialing guidelines.
Experience in implementing and maintaining compliance frameworks and best practices, including risk assessments, control frameworks, and monitoring methodologies.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex requirements and identify potential compliance risks and issues.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in reviewing processes and documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Sound judgment and ethical decision-making abilities to navigate compliance challenges and maintain the highest standards of integrity.
Proficiency in using compliance monitoring tools, data analysis software, and MS Office suite.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, regulations and contracts Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to top management and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
