oIndependently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care.
oUtilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care.
oWorks in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
WORK EXPERIENCE 1 year of ER RN experience required Pediatric ER experience preferred but not required EDUCATION BSN required LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas required BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association required PALS required within 60 days ABOUT OUR ER:
As a Level I Trauma Center our emergency department, Children's Medical Center Dallas focus on the treatment of children, and our team is specifically trained in pediatrics - giving us an expert understanding of the health and needs of children like yours.
