Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Analyze network security requirements that are under the responsibility and develop policies, standards, and procedures used to deliver those services that are consistent with the Client standards and policies Analyze new demands and proposed technical changes to the Client's network for data and voice services to ensure continuity and meet the security requirements Work with the Client's security team to review the proposed vision and roadmap for IT Security and provides input to the impact it will have on the network security Develop tools to be able to monitor the Client's infrastructure to have the necessary data to meet the security requirements Work with the key stakeholders to develop patch management and software release management plans to keep the Client's network for data and voice services up to date Establish procedures and processes to work with the Client regarding security related incidents Be experienced at providing security for information technology systems, network, and technologies and scope to the services that are being provided Researches emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of network incidents Analyzes data from threat and vulnerability feeds and analyzes data for applicability to the client's organization Supports the creation of business continuity/disaster recovery plans, to include conducting disaster recovery tests, publishing test results, and making changes necessary to address deficiencies Ensures compliance with all applicable configuration standards Recommends security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk Produces vulnerability, configuration, and coverage metrics and reporting to demonstrate assessment coverage and remediation effectiveness Firewall management (e.
g.
DMZ, Internet, Third Party connections) Provision and management of multi-factor authentication (e.
g.
, token, certificate) Malicious code detection and prevention, and Internet monitoring (e.
g.
IDS/IPS) Security policy verification Ongoing vulnerability assessment and remediation activities Support of Third Party security assessment, scanning and penetration testing Design, implementation, management and maintenance of encryption solutions Management of Client-owned security certificates, SSLs and domain names; where applicable Required Skills:
BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is highly desirable 10
years of work experience in information security, especially in a network security Enginer role Preferred Certification - PCNSA, CSA+, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCIE Security and CCNA CyberOps Competencies Required Technical expertise in analyzing threat event data, evaluating malicious activity, documenting unusual files and data, and identifying tactics, techniques and procedures used by attackers Technical expertise in system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, network and web-related protocols (e.
g.
, TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, etc.
) Technical expertise in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols and application security Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, An understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge ISO 2700 Awareness, PCI compliance Recommended Skills Application Security Business Requirements Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Security (Ccie Security) Cisco Certified Network Associate Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (Ccna Security) Cisco Certified Network Professional Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
