Summary The TSS works closely with legal teams and Client Technology Services staff to define, communicate, and execute requirements supporting trials, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and the discovery process.
Job Responsibilities Interfaces with teams to organize evidence for presentation at trial Identifies technical requirements for trial sites and war rooms with internal technical resources and vendors Interacts with trial or hearing site personnel Uses case management systems Conducts surveys for courtroom layout, power requirements, and equipment placement based on presentation requirements Provides cost estimates, deadlines, and the identification of internal and external resources based on trial strategy Coordinates equipment requirements, testing, delivery of equipment, trial documents, and exhibits, setup/tear down, and power requirements Serves as project manager for off-site war room setup Uses trial software and technology in court Identifies and solves problems with software and hardware issues Provides technical assistance and training for litigation, trial support software, and trial presentation Constantly seeks to improve the firm's trial presentation capabilities Qualifications and Requirements Hybrid environment after training Requires working a minimum of forty (40) hours per week.
Possibly working outside regular business hrs Availability to travel independently - travel is required Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software such as Opus 2, and Codex Experience creating trial exhibits that effectively communicate complex ideas using graphics and animation Knowledgeable in managing electronic transcripts, video editing and conversion, video syncing, and timecoding Courtroom and litigation experience (litigation paralegal preferred) The physical demands of this position are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of the role successfully.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
