Major Duties Conduct complex compliance reviews with precision and attention to detail.
Traveling is required to conduct off-site reviews.
Evaluate agreements to ensure alignment with federal and state regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance issues effectively.
Utilize initiative and independent judgment in navigating diverse situations.
What We're Looking For One year of experience conducting compliance reviews for federal, state, or local food and nutrition programs.
Completion of a Food and Nutrition Administrative Review Specialist Trainee training program is desirable.
Proficiency in auditing TX-UNPS of NSLP or CACFP nutrition programs is required.
Bachelor's Degree.
Background in food service management, school food service operations, nutrition education, compliance reviews for federal grants, and/or audit.
Exciting Opportunity Details Rate:
$40.
00 per hour.
Length of engagement:
6-8 months with the potential to convert to permanent (FTE) with the state.
Days/Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Location:
Onsite at any of the agency's locations:
Austin, Houston, Dallas, Lubbock, Ft.
Worth, and San Juan, TX.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
