We are a small business and need someone who is reliable and capable.
Being a small warehouse, we primarily ship and receive small parcel UPS and FEDEX packages, but some LTL shipments arrive fairly regularly as well.
In addition to basic shipping and receiving, you would be responsible for helping prepare deliveries for our sales team such as counting, packaging and labeling orders.
Managing inventory and organizing / basic cleaning of the warehouse would also be a part of the job.
If you prove self-reliant and capable, the next step would be to promote you to the position of warehouse manager, along with the corresponding increase in pay.
We want to train someone up to this position-that is our goal.
We will train you from day one and give you everything you need to get going and support you along the way.

Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and process items into inventory.
Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently, primarily small parcel shipments.
Assist in preparing orders for delivery by salesmen, ensuring all items are properly pulled, packed and labeled.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Communicate information on orders to the sales team Report shipment shortages to manufacturers Utilize computer systems for inventory management, order processing, and record-keeping tasks.
Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse operations or related fields preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (we mostly deal in small, lighter products, but the occasional heavier item comes along- around 50 lbs or so) Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
Computer experience preferred, including proficiency in basic software applications.
We use in house company software, as well as UPS worldship and FEDEX online Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
