This includes - ordering, receiving, storing, managing inventory, issuing and shipping product in warehouse.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient workflows, ensuring accurate inventory management, and fostering a safe and productive work environment for our employees.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Verifies incoming shipments, resolves discrepancies, and examine for damage and cleanliness.
Advises employees on care and preservation of items received - stored and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining and shipping stock; and related problems.
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
Schedules work for routine and special service to equipment.
Coordinate duties and examines work for exactness, cleanliness, neatness, safety and conformance to policies and procedures.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Adjusts errors and complaints.
Keeps Warehouse Team Leader informed about problems, potential issues, and status of work in progress.
Promote safety awareness, follow all safety rules and procedures, and report unsafe conditions/work-related incidents to appropriate party immediately.
Assists warehouse Team Leader with ensuring all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team.
Leads all shipping, receiving, scheduling, activities performed by warehouse team.
Monitors inventory control process.
Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.
Performs administrative tasks as necessary, including Gemba Meetings.
Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications and
Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
One year of related experience in a warehouse setting, preferred.
Additional education or certification in logistics or related field is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carryout instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Work involves daily and frequent exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, odors, darkness and/or poor lighting, noise, and vibration.
Seasonal exposure to weather elements to include, but not limited to, extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity.
Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks and hazards, such as working around mechanical equipment, mechanical hazards, forklifts, chemical hazards, electrical hazards, fire and explosives hazards, communicable diseases.
Position requires the ability to stand; walking around office, warehouse, and plant; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting on a daily basis.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
