Hospitality Assistant
Perform administrative duties, such as preparing quotes and pro formas, in a timely manner.
Enter Hospitality sales orders and create pro-forma invoices.
Answer Hospitality/Contract customers' questions regarding decorative accessories, furnishing and lighting products, prices, availability, as well as merchandise uses.
Provide Hospitality customers with product samples and catalogs as requested.
Record and log all sales quotes received from Hospitality sales team for use as needed.
Assist Hospitality team colleagues with administrative duties while they may be away from the office or otherwise unavailable.
Complete all other tasks in a timely manner as assigned by supervisor.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
In the performance of the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate with customers using telephone and e-mailAbility to read and understand sales related communications.
Ability to write and / or interpret routine reports and other correspondence related to International and Hospitality based customers.
Ability to speak effectively with individual customers or customer groups.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Ability to be flexible and to work under certain time constraints as necessary.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
