Systems Engineer Lead at Geisinger Health System in Remote
Job Summary Responsible for assisting Information Technology staff in the installation, maintenance, implementation, and continuous usage of Microsoft 365. Job Duties Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and service of Microsoft 365 Lead the effort to provide and promote a platform that maximizes end-user productivity while minimizing cost and organizational impact. Evaluates, recommends and, implements new system software products, product updates, and new releases. Maintains an inventory of products, current release level and, all updates or local modifications. Informs appropriate personnel of new features, limitations, and considerations produced by upgrades or new products. Create, manage, and support automation for improving task efficiency as well as auditing, and governance controls. Facilitates online documentation and run books. Provides education and counsel to users and IT personnel on the use and understanding of systems software. Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation Serves as a liaison to vendor software support personnel as needed by IT personnel. Determines, implements, and facilitates programs and procedures to analyze resource utilization and support planning activities. Monitors team activities and takes corrective action to promote a productive environment. In conjunction with management, develops budget for area of responsibility. Provides direct leadership on a chosen technology platform to other members of the Systems Support staff. Work is typically performed in an office environment. $150K -- $200K
