The Director Operations has overall leadership responsibility for the relationship between Luxottica's key optical retail brands, its leaders and the Luxottica manufacturing group for the production and delivery of prescription glasses to end customers. This position leads all aspects of manufacturing and operations support for all Luxottica Optical Retail Brands Channels:
LensCrafters, Target Optical and Pearle Vision including change management initiatives and leading strategic business improvement projects. This includes providing an operations leadership role from planning through execution. Also, this leader is responsible for coordination and communication with Luxottica retail brands and relevant cross functional teams to ensure effective execution, service and quality. MAJOR DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Leads and supports Retail Optical Channel manufacturing initiatives and changes to ensure execution cross functionally across new product introductions, range and frame changes and key projects. Leads annual planning line items, planning and facilitation for Brand Channel annual meetings. Oversees manufacturing performance reporting, continuous improvement and service/quality resolution. Fosters collaborative relationships with brand, shared services and field leadership teams. Leads communication and sign-off alignment with Brand Channels and shared service partners. Clear objectives and time lines; identify needed resources and provide accurate estimate costs. Drives execution and communication on progress, risk and results (Service, Quality, Cost), Overall responsibility for retail store prescription manufacturing Policy and Procedures. Develops and approves content for training and instructions on new technology and tools. Expertise regarding Order Management Process and POS Order Integration. Drives improvement. Sustaining and optimizing routing of orders with planning teams. Develops a direct report to execute and optimize Brand Channel reporting, ad hoc analysis & project tasks. Create an environment that fosters retail field leadership feedback to generate process improvement. Provide retail Field Leadership support in addressing questions, issues, and any crisis that may arrive. Partners with Engineering, manufacturing and Field Leadership regarding lab equipment evolution. Partners with store design on equipment deployment and new/change/remodel support, BASIC
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 10
years' experience in retail industry 5
years' experience partnering & developing solutions with senior executives / business leadership 5
years project management experience Experience partnering with manufacturing / production partners to deliver product to customers on time, in budget within a consumer or retail industry Strong leadership and project management skills Visionary / strategic minded with critical thinking and strong analytical skills Responds resourcefully to change Customer-centric approach Ability to influence, negotiate and develop others for successful execution Organizational skills and expertise across functions and processes Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and self-manage
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Account Management, Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
