BIG DATA Engineer Location:
Dallas, TX (Remote until covid subsides) Roles and Responsibilities Hands on Big Data hadoop application development Over all 5 years experience Hadoop ecosystem HDFS HDFS file types HIVE HQL HUE etc Linux commands to perform essential data engineering tasks from command line Apache Spark JAVA Scala Python proficient in one of the languages Knowledge about ways to move data to from Linux and Hadoop Spark clusters Performance tuning in Spark Yarn cluster and Hadoop resources Work effectively with internal external teams to debug test develop and implement fixes for Hadoop spark analytics team in an agile development methodologies processes Work with change management processes to ensure smooth migration between dev QA and production environments Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate functional and technical components of an initiative to application teams both verbally and through documentation Any Hadoop spark certifications is a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
