Principal Cloud Security Architect As the Principal Cloud Solution (Enterprise) Architect, you will have the opportunity to shape the vision and strategy for Public and Private Cloud Security at Comerica. The successful candidate should have expertise in building enterprise cloud security solutions, extensive experience in using services provided by AWS, Azure or GCP and expert knowledge in information security. Other responsibilities the ideal candidate will provide; technical leadership to drive and shape the Cloud Services architecture. Develop strategic roadmaps, technical blueprints & design patterns, standards, and reference architectures in support of the Cloud Services program. Collaborate with cross-functional cloud teams in Comerica including security, infrastructure, engineering and business application teams to define and implement future state architecture such as:
perimeter/edge security, account and vpc structure, SDN, IAM roles and policies required to build, support, and consume cloud services. Define and develop preventive guardrails, detective controls, and automated alerts and remediation to ensure implementation in all cloud environments are compliant with Comerica's cloud security standards and policies. Build automated remediation for over privileged or unused access. Define SDLC for IAM roles and policies and develop IAM CI/CD pipeline with automated testing and validation. Define governance process and develop tools for managing cloud IAM inventory and entitlement review. Possess a DevOps focus across technology and security architecture, automation, integration, and distribution. CISSP certification is preferred and accredited certifications a plus, such as:
CRTSA, CNDA, GDSA, CSSA, ISSAP, CSSP. Position
Responsibilities:
Innovation Perform research activities to identify emerging technologies and trends that may affect the enterprise. Maintain awareness of vendor/product industry developments, regulations and trends and identify potential impacts to the enterprise. Assist in vendor/product selection activities including the development of vendor/product evaluation models used in Requests for Proposal (RFP's). Design and oversee efforts in building effective bank specific Proof of Concept demonstrations and socialize the results throughout the enterprise and all levels of management. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners to keep on track for core technologies. Develops and maintains strong relationships with business domain leadership to keep track of changing business needs and priorities. Provide technical/business consulting to internal Technology organizations and client-sponsored activities outside of Technology. Strategy Provide technical/business consulting to internal Technology organizations and client-sponsored activities outside of Technology. Analyze the business drivers that determine key architecture requirements. Develop the process for creating a technical strategy that supports the business strategy and facilitate its development, and maintenance. Develops and maintains strong relationships with business domain leadership to keep track of changing business needs and priorities. Contribute to EA community by developing reference architectures, training/certification material etc. EA Governance Perform technical architecture planning activities. Facilitate and develop architectural standards for key technologies. Facilitate the development and evolution of the architecture and global governance processes. Define and facilitate the process for approving architecture principles and standards. Develop different methods to communicate effectively the Enterprise Architecture. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or in a technology related field, OR equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience, OR 12 years of technology experience 10 years of Architecture experience 10 years of experience leading large, complex/critical technology projects 8 years of experience influencing strategy for large organizations 6 years of experience leading and inspiring others 3 years of experience in cybersecurity as a cloud practitioner with thought leadership in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 2 years of experience with designing and implementing enterprise scale CSPM, CWWP, CASB and native cloud security solutions 3 years of hands on designing security architecture within AWS network architecture, services and identity access management 3 years of experience in integrating automated security controls via instrumentation within CI/CD pipelines and experience with Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Hashicorp, Chef, Puppet This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
