Summary:
The Marketing/Community Liaison is responsible for articulating and promoting the Agency's mission & services by developing relationships with community referral sources, agencies, health care professionals and families.
The Marketing/Community Liaison will serve as the first point of contact for these contacts to provide marketing and business development activities in order to generate referrals.
He/She reports directly to the Administrator.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma; BA/BS Degree in Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Health Care Management, or related field is preferred.
At least 2 years experience in clinical, Agency or Agency marketing preferred Detail oriented - highly organized Effective written and verbal communication Proficient skill using a computer Strong time management skills.
Must be able to build relationships and communicate clearly Valid and current auto insurance and driver's license is required
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating & generating new business in home care services in both existing and new accounts, identifying new markets and maintaining existing service as well as coordinating care for referred patients.
Serves as a liaison between the agency, hospitals, medical community and other referral sources.
Educates the community and the medical profession/referral sources regarding home care & hospice Make calls to referrals each day to promote the benefits of home health services.
Daily interaction with patients, medical professionals, other referral sources, and the community to assure continuity of care and to coordinate appropriate communication and documentation.
Works closely with agency personnel to ensure that patient care is handled efficiently and effectively Regularly meets and informs the operational team and clinical team, of new patient referrals and receives updates regarding the referred patients.
Promotes the philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies of the Agency, in an effort to ensure quality of patient care.
Demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in 9 place of others as necessary.
Highly organized, strategy driven, flexible and possess the ability to understand and act accordingly to market variables.
Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to 11 help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.
Attends and participates at Agency organized functions which relate to community and public awareness.
Identifies needs - thoroughly identifies the needs of the referral sources; demonstrates a clear understanding of how the referral source makes decisions; understands who the decision makers are.
Educates physicians, hospitals, SNF's, & ALF's, regarding regulations of home care, industry and agency policies and informs vendors on scope of service Demonstrates compliance with accurate, timely and pertinent information regarding the patient, family 15 and caregivers.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Accurately and timely submits plans, work logs, expense reports and other requested documentation.
JOB CONDITIONS:
Position is stressful in meeting deadlines.
Minimal lifting of office records and printouts.
Primarily, a desk job which involves sitting, standing, stooping and walking.
Excessive telephone communication.
Traveling by car or airplane to local, out-of-town or state seminars, conferences or meetings.
Must be able to read 12 point or larger type.
Must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier.
must be able to hear and speak in a manner understood by most people.
Must be able to communicate both verbally and writing.
MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USE:
Utilizes Office equipment such as computer, Fax, telephone, copier, calculator, etc COMPANY INFORMATION:
Access to client medical records which may be discussed with all management staff.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
