Legal Billing Specialist/Office Coordinator

Quick Apply Full-time 6 days ago Full Job Description This position requires a self-starter, take charge individual to handle critical general office functions, including legal billing.
Many Firm employees are currently working remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
A mature, dependable individual is needed to work onsite daily and be the go to to keep the office functioning smoothly.
This is a highly responsible position which is critical to the Firm's functions.
The legal billing responsibilities include editing and executing attorney billing, as well as handling electronic billing, communications with clients, vendors and responsible attorneys.
High attention to detail.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drafting, editing and preparing client bills per attorney/client specifications and/or guidelines Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of billing and supporting documentation Managing the requirements of clients who use e-billing to ensure billing is completed timely and accurately Utilizing and generating reports using an accounting/billing software program Researching and responding to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems Utilizing portal invoicing as required by clients Generating monthly client statements Coordinating virtual meetings/conference calls Coordinating with vendors regarding supplies and other orders Administrative duties, including but not limited to assisting the Director of Administration with office services, human resources, etc.
Receiving and routing deliveries to attorneys and staff Light telephone duty (7-10 calls per day) Other challenging tasks as requested
Qualifications:
Preference given to previous experience in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt to deadlines, new assignments and peak workloads Must be reliable with excellent attendance Job Type:
