7 Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description The Marketing Specialist, CRM is responsible for the overall strategy and execution for email, SMS, push and in-push app marketing communications that come from MoneyGram.
This person will be part of the front-line within the CRM team delivering communications to our users across our different product lines to drive growth and retention, while establishing and maintaining the higher-level, holistic experience that is aligned with MoneyGram's business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities Works cross-functionally to evaluate and define the holistic communication strategy as it relates to emails, SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging.
Includes balancing marketing and loyalty messages across teams, regions, and platforms.
- Ability to define new approach and explain why to executive leadership.
Builds, manages and carry executes email, SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging marketing campaigns with an emphasis on HTML, automated processes, and A/B testing to enhance the user experience.
Works with data team on audience segmentation, including list management.
Evaluates current overall process for marketing communications and makes recommendations for improvements; implements recommended changes to process across teams.
Build and test simple to highly complex promotional and loyalty one-time, and triggered emails and work with the team to ensure that emails are dynamic, efficiently coded, render correctly on all email clients, and adhere to current email best practices.
Collaborate with designers and various stakeholders to create and update HTML email layout/design to match the look and feel on our website.
Develop weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting on CRM implementation to measure campaign performance to key stakeholders.
Pulls, loads, creates, and manipulates subscriber lists and counts within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Troubleshoot rendering issues and make necessary changes to problematic code.
Maintain knowledge of channels best practices, marketing trends, technologies, laws, and privacy laws.
Contributes to email development best practices by keeping up with the latest trends and CRM marketing best practices.
Performs other reasonable duties, such as special projects and other tasks, as assigned by CRM Manager and Digital Services leadership team.
Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Experience 5
years eMarketing experience (eCommerce and/or digital marketing experience will also be considered).
Essential Skills Skilled in Marketing Tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Communicate efficiently and work well with teams cross-functionally across the globe.
Ability to prioritize work, approve/reject requests, gain alignment from other departments, etc.
- Solid understanding of MGI's lines of business.
Hands-on experience in CRM/Email Marketing required Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Experience reporting and analyzing data.
Experience with SQL Proven track record of aggressive channel growth.
Experience managing & building complex email & mobile triggers, automations, and customer journeys Experience in front end coding supporting Marketing initiatives and specifically coding email from scratch using HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript designs and dynamic content within email marketing communications Knowledge of relational databases Primary Location:
