1 Quick Apply Full-time 3 hours ago Full Job Description The Restaurant Administrator maintains a thorough knowledge of the venue, products, and services as well as awareness of other roles and responsibilities throughout the organization and is responsible for supporting restaurant operations by maintaining office systems and assists with associate onboarding.
Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
The Restaurant Administrator will report to the Director of Operations.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Assist management team with the organization of daily operations.
Assist with maintaining accurate system office systems and records.
Participate in staff meetings as required.
Assist management in managing business on the books successfully and work pipeline of inquiries, prospects, tentative and definite bookings.
Ensure timely process of invoices with accounting.
Scheduling interviews for management.
With the direction from management and chef, create custom menus.
Work with management team to ensure proper scheduling of team members for event.
Oversee the set-up of large party or private event to include, but not limited to, the placement of linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware according to event specifications and a full inspection.
Follow up with guest during and after events including delivery of thank you notes as well as prompt follow up of negative guest feedback, as necessary.
Assist with system management and administration.
Supports various business units with the planning and implementation of new training materials.
Provides back up coverage for other administrative staff within the business.
Responds to written or phone inquiries and determines proper routing for action.
Create, edit, and maintain simple presentations in MS PowerPoint.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in restaurant industry Impeccable and flexible guest communication skills Ability to multitask and function independently and in a team atmosphere.
People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
A high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Positive and Progressive thinking, problem solving and promoting.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail High stress tolerance.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to handle operational demands with a high degree of professionalism, operating often with time sensitive deadline.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
