Our office located in the Greater Dallas area is hiring for an Associate Estate Planner.
The Associate Estate Planner will be responsible for review of client estate plans.
This position involves a fast-paced, high volume of client facing activities providing comprehensive services to existing clients, developing new business and assisting our advisors and financial planning team.

Salary range:
$90,000 - $120,000 a year, plus annual bonus.
Responsibilities:
Prepare all estate reviews for clients.
This will include reviewing documents, preparing a firm-specific summary for clients that earmarks appropriate issues, and presenting that summary in client meetings with advisors and financial planners.
Provide advisory services to clients on estate tax planning, wealth and business succession planning, charitable planning and trust tax planning.
Communicate with strategic partners in attorneys or law firms to facilitate the drafting of estate documents.
Conduct training sessions for the firm and planning team as needed.
Perform tasks and other duties assigned by wealth management services team.
Publicly represent the estate planning department through participation in firm marketing initiatives, including client and prospective client seminars, writing articles and blogs, and other activities.
Coordinate with the financial planning department to illustrate estate planning concepts in our financial planning software as part of the financial plan delivery.
Collaborate with the financial planning department on estate planning recommendations that require outside coordination with items such as the following, but not limited to:
Life insurance illustrations, Business valuations, Donor advised funds, Buy-sell arrangements and funding, Business entity structure set up, Pre and post nuptial agreements, and Special needs trusts.
Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature as necessary in order to achieve the firm's business development and client retention objectives.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform business functions with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance.
Juris Doctor (JD) and certified by the State Bar Minimum 2 years experience in estate planning.
Litigation experience is a plus Working knowledge of state property tax law Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software Efficient and effective written and oral communication skills Experience in public speaking events Extremely detail oriented, exceptional follow through, reliable Ability to maintain positive attitude, self-motivated, ethically sound judgement Excellent client relations skills with ability to apply problem solving skills, and communicate solutions Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with all levels of the firm and within a very fast-paced, collaborative environment Ability to work independently and exercise discretion without direct and immediate supervision Minimal travel required #LI-Hybrid Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
