Overview:
Hire Velocity's Transportation Partner is hiring full-time, motivated Class A CDL drivers with a clean driving record for its Amazon Freight Partner program.
We are a local small business with the benefits of a large company.
We haul exclusively for Amazon and are making on-the-spot job offers contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements.
What you'll do:
Haul Amazon loads (100% no touch freight) using state of the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new day cabsDrive regional routes that have you home after every other shiftWork a minimum of 39 hours per week (3 shifts of 13 hours each) with opportunities for additional shifts and overtimePlay a key role in keeping Amazon's commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right placeWhat is needed:
Must be at least 21 years oldMust have an iPhone (iOS) for Amazon Relay app11 months of proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferredMust be able to sucessfully reverse a 53' trailer within 15 minutes to the dockHave a valid Class-A Commercial Driver License (CDL)Must successfully pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screenClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC ReportNo current CDL suspension or revocationMust be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs, and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and recordsAbility to effectively learn and operate a GPSMust be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications Pay:
$22/hr Hours:
Start shift anytime between 5PM and 1AM (overnight)3 days on, 1 night out, and 4 days offWED-SAT or THURS-SUNTime and a half over 40 hours #JITAbout the Company:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
