The Integrated Brand Marketing, Brand Planning team is seeking an intern to learn and shadow marketing professionals to gain experience in integrated marketing, including campaign management and operations, strategy, and performance analysis.
The American Heart Associations Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization.
Individuals will obtain practical experience and receive hands-on training in various disciplines, to include volunteer recruitment/management, community event planning and management, public health research, community partner networking/connection, and program development/implementation.

Complete an internship that enriches your academic and professional resume as well as enriching your personal life by making a difference in the lives of others Responsibilities Tasks could include things like the following:

Assisting with marketing campaign planning and development
Researching marketing concepts and using quantitative data to make recommendations.

Assistance with developing marketing materials and assets
Assisting in marketing operations including agency partnerships, campaign logistics, tracking, reporting
Establishing/maintaining cross-functional team partnerships (Branding, Communications, Social, Digital, Science) Qualifications
2
years educational or equivalent experience in health, public health, marketing or communications courses.

Demonstrated ability to research health topics and translate findings into actionable guidance.

Introductory knowledge of marketing and communications activities.

Demonstrated excellence in written communications skills, including writing on health topics for promotional or educational outcomes.

Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.

Ability to deal professionally in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.

Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities
Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Intermediate knowledge of Canva, Animoto or Adobe Creative suite is a plus
Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:
30am-5pm.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
