Niche Specialist Writer

We are seeking seasoned, well-published niche specialists to optimize existing articles and write an occasional op-ed piece.
What you'll mostly do:
Read and edit articles, changing and tweaking the diction and syntax as you go to make it feel more like your own.
Lightly edit the content so it aligns with our formatting standards (e.
g.
, bullet points, headings, numbered lists, etc.
) and our content standards (e.
g.
, active voice, second person, present tense, etc.
).
Fact-check articles and link to sources as described in our style guide.
Add expert quotations as described in our style guide.
Add relevant references (e.
g.
, pop culture, world news, etc.
) from within the last two months.
Add product links (we will provide you with the links; you do not need to research new products) for product review articles.
Add a hook and conclusion in your own words.
What you'll occasionally do:
Write op-ed pieces specific to your niche.
RequirementsWho you are:
You've established yourself as an expert in the niche to which you are applying (this means you have extensively published in this space and can provide samples of your published work).
You live and breathe one of the following niches:
Anti-aging/longevity Sneakers Feline/cats Men's interests (grooming, fashion, wearable technology) You stay up to date on your niche's latest trends, buy the latest products, and know what's good, what's hot, and what's not.
You've written about various topics in the niche.
Bonus points if you have a degree or certification in your niche area.

We will provide you with a detailed style guide and other procedural specifics.
You will have a team of editors and our editorial director available to support you.
You will be credited on the byline.
You will have your own author profile, on which we will promote you and your work; we expect you to also promote your work on your own socials! Recommended Skills Syntax Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
