Our Business Transformation office is a part of our enabling functions which also includes Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations.
These enabling functions provide enterprise-wide strategy, structure, and common processes to deliver the knowledge and expertise that helps our businesses grow.
Enabling functions may operate as a center-led global team, providing a central strategy, structure, and standards; or as business partner teams, with resources embedded within the businesses to deliver business unit-specific results.
Job Summary The Business Process Director Distribution & Transportation develops and improves business processes related to Distribution, Transportation and Global Trade within SAP S/4HANA and associated business processes and practices.
They will lead multiple projects utilizing improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to deliver business results aligned to operational objectives.
They will serve as a process improvement consultant related to the enterprise wide implementation of SAP S/4HANA involving people, process, and technology changes.
They will lead, recommend, design, implement, integrate, and manage process changes for the global enterprise.
This role is one designated as not anchored to a designated Spectrum Brands office.
Work can be done remote, from a dedicated home office in an approved state within the continental United States.
This role can be done from a dedicated home office in most states in the continental US.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Key areas of focus will include business process improvement, project planning and management, financial and operational analyses, corporate strategy development, and change management.
Works closely with the organization's functional leaders and ERP implementation teams to help find solutions to the organization's toughest issues and provides internal consulting support for evaluation and implementation across the organization.
Identify and leverage executives, IT support, business leaders, and global subject matter experts needed to drive the development, design and adoption of new business processes and practices.
Assess business and application requirements and design robust business processes while considering leading industry business practices Drives the execution of organizational change and strategic performance initiatives with necessary governance, oversight mechanisms, and process improvement efforts required to ensure the achievement of the organization's annual operational priorities.
Leads critical initiatives requiring analytical and decision support to frame key issues, develop hypotheses, assess risks, conduct analyses, and identify potential solutions prior to mobilizing commitment and designing broader implementation and engagement plans.
Utilizes change management principles, processes, tools, and identifies change strategies, assesses stakeholder impacts and organizational readiness, communicates with and trains facility participants, provides appropriate levels of support and supervision, and measures project effectiveness.
Apply consistent project management approaches and processes, identify and report roadblocks and variances to project plan, ensure projects are on schedule and achieve stated objectives.
Coordinate with team members to identify and document resource constraints.
Take ownership in all project issues with a hands-on approach to root cause analysis and problem resolution while leading team to fact-based decision making.
Develop and maintain business process documentations that will be used as reference for preparing test cases, training documents, etc.
Facilitate any organizational process workshop acting as liaison with users and process requirements.
Education and Experience Profile Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or relevant disciplines required Master's degree preferred Experience and knowledge implementing ERP systems using project lifecycle processes, including design, testing, implementation and support 8
years of experience in supply, demand planning & capacity planning, procurement, business transformation, ERP implementation, and SAP S/4 Sales and Supply Chain lines of business 5-7
years of experience in an international business & IT environment (ideally in manufacturing) Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Change Management Certification a plus Knowledge of SAP WM, SAP S/4 Supply Chain modules including EWM, TMS, and GTS Required Skills Ability to lead change while achieving business goals and objectives.
Exceptional qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
Hands-on, results-oriented and pragmatic.
Creative, flexible, strategic thinker, able to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic work environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to differing audiences.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis.
Team player who can also work independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to travel at least 25% internationally and domestically to perform assigned duties.
