The Production Automation & Controls Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager is a key contributor to the Americas Global Sales & Marketing (GSM).
This role reports to the Director of Software and Controls Business unit and may be in any place at the continental United States.
What you will do The Production Automation & Controls Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager will lead a team of experts that understand and evangelizes the Rockwell Digital Transformation and Smart Manufacturing control software and digital innovation offerings.
This position acts as the primary contact and champion for the Software & Control solutions the North America region, and is responsible for developing short- and long-range goals and objectives, in conjunction with the North American Sales & Marketing Team and the Software & Control Leadership Team.
The Production Automation & Controls GTM Manager is focused on the management of a 1B
business focused on new growth opportunities for Digital Manufacturing and Operations, Smart Connected Assets, and Digital Innovation including the identification of future technology needs.
The position is responsible to develop and drive the Rockwell Automation digital transformation value proposition leading the adoption of Rockwell software offerings.
Responsibilities also include providing the necessary leadership essential to grow the business including market analysis based on industry insights, business development, sales enablement, and go to market strategy for Rockwell.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Develop the annual business plan for the region, in conjunction with the North America sales management, Marketing teams, and Software and Control Leadership team.
Manage the monthly sales and forecast targets and annual growth of the product lines consistent with management's expectations.
Meet or exceed business revenue plans for Rockwell software solutions and ARR using a discipline sales process, account planning, funnel management, forecast accuracy and key opportunity tracking.
Driving growth and performance for the software and control business; developing commercial strategies including product, pricing, promotion, and market access; defining target growth industries & market segments; product & system launch planning; gathering market intelligence and feedback; pricing management; and providing commercial/sales support.
Works cross functionally with the Software and Control Leadership, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and the Industry Account Team to position and implement Rockwell software solutions for the Americas sales organization.
Works collaboratively to provide feedback for future technology and services needs to the Software and Control Leadership.
Provides digital transformation and smart manufacturing thought leadership and is viewed as a trusted advisor both internally with Rockwell and externally to our most valued customers.
Support preparation of Production Software & Controls product development processes by providing market-based input on priorities, growth areas & market size, competitors, gaps, and differentiation.
Ensure that the Production Automation & Controls GTM team identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve business performance.
Create alignment, build, and sustain partner relationships between the NA Sales Leadership Team and the Software & Control Leadership Team.
Lead the execution of quarterly business updates.
Partner with the Sales to establish Production Automation & Controls sales quotas, prepare & finalize sales strategies and establish key customer contacts.
Collaborate with NA Marketing and Business Units to ensure commercial readiness and sales support for product launches including priority of product launches, determining product demos requirements, appropriate technical support expectations (pre & post sale), and required competency strategy, etc.
Identify & prioritize commercially sensitive customer problems.
Assist the regional and territorial sales teams and involve the business units when appropriate.
Assist regional management teams in directing and cultivating the human resources including establishing and maintaining appropriate engagement levels for domain experts, providing an environment supportive of employee development and advancement, and ensuring the availability of the proper mix of competencies and experience to support the business.
Support key strategic initiatives related to talent management, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and creating and inclusive and engaged organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree Ability to travel greater than 25% of time Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in software engineering or electrical engineering, Master's Degree in Business Administration Typically requires 5 or more years of software product management, software sales and marketing management or product business unit management experience.
Preferably in the automation controls or a high technology industry.
Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior leadership level in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization Proven experience delivering on strategy and exceeding results on hardware and software-based solutions with significant customer business outcomes Knowledge of a wide range of Rockwell and PTC software product offerings including, but not limited to FactoryTalk Suite, ThingWorx, Studio 5000, Emulate 3D, Vuforia, Plex, Fiix, PlantPAX, ThinManager and Logix Echo Professional/Technical Excellence:
