Job Description We are seeking an Office 365 Administrator to join our team.
This is a key role within the IT Infrastructure & Security team primarily supporting and maintaining Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2016 on-premise systems, as well as the Office 365 environment.
Additional responsibilities include building out, maintaining, troubleshooting and securing our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
Qualified candidate will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering and/or information security.
Responsibilities
Manage MS Exchange 2010 and 2016 on-premises and Office 365 environment, and be able to troubleshoot and resolve server issues, user and mailbox management
Lead project planning activity to ensure timely and successful completion of Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive deployment
Create and maintain Office 365 suite best practices documentation
Provide knowledge transfer and create/deliver training for SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
Handle certificate updates, troubleshoot mail routing issues
Troubleshoot system issues and outages; provide Tier III support to other IT teams
System security, including adherence to documented processes and procedures and compliance auditing
Execute a planned program of patching and service pack management
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and protocols
As Office 365 subject matter expert, you would stay abreast of standards, best practices and changes to the product line
Stay up to date on new features and capabilities, and plan and execute upgrades and migrations as needed
Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for end users experiencing problems with Office 365 applications and services
Recommend information technology standards, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements
Collaborate with team members, customers and other managers to determine project goals, schedules and budgets; communicate vital information to project team members and stakeholders Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years Office 365 administration experience
Practical knowledge and experience deploying Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive
In depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
In depth knowledge of Active Directory configuration and administration, including Azure AD, and Windows Server management, including knowledge across DNS, DHCP and DFS administration
Proficient with PowerShell and other scripting skills
Working knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, OSI network layers and internet protocols
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to partner well with internal and external business partner
Must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and make recommendations and decisions on the improvement and operation of those areas
Solid professional and customer service skills
Technical documentation skills
Must be able to interact extensively with all levels of Omni Hotels & Resorts management in a professional and confident manner
Bachelors degree from accredited four-year college or university with a focus in Computer Science, Information Systems, engineering, or related field, or relevant work experience Preferred
Experience:

Experience using Cisco Networking hardware and software (routing, switching, and firewall)
Experience using VMware 5.
5 or higher
Experience using Veeam Backup
Experience using Proofpoint Email Protection
MCSE:
Productivity certification
ITIL Foundation certified
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques and protocols

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
