GENERAL SUMMARYThe Digital Media Analyst is responsible for leading the collection, analysis, and interpretation of media to track the success of Lexus digital advertising initiatives.
The Analyst will work closely with Lexus and the Lexus Dealership Association (LDA) planning teams to produce recurring performance reports and provide recommendations to optimize future digital advertising performance.
The analyst will provide clear articulation of key findings and insight to internal teams and may at times, be required to share insights with clients.
The Analyst will work closely with the media, account, production, and traffic teams to ensure seamless workflow and consistency in digital media tracking and reporting infrastructure.
Through data-driven insights, the Analyst will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the client's marketing strategy.
Day to Day:
Design, analyze, and interpret data reports from multiple sources (display, video, paid search, and paid social), both quantitative and qualitativeWork closely with publishers/partners to ensure accuracy in reported numbers and to hold them accountable for performanceData cleansing and consolidation to build out, and automate reporting templates (primarily via Excel)Identify client objectives and advise on measurement strategiesDevelop benchmark performance across online channels and work closely with Ad Ops to ensure accurate tagging/ measurementIdentify client objectives and advise on measurement strategiesQA and improve tracking processes across different teams:
tagging, trafficking, and reportingTurn technical findings into digestible story narratives about how campaigns have performedMonitor trends and uncover opportunities for analytics, media, and account teamsInfluence internal and external stakeholders to utilize data-driven insights to guide strategic decisionsTechnical troubleshooting of reporting/performance glitchesDesigns and implements digital dashboards for internal and external consumptionProactively seek new information and maintain a current and thorough understanding of digital marketing best practices including industry trends, metrics and competitive activitiesCollaborate with the digital, search and social teams to enhance client reporting and performance measurement and conduct detailed analysis work when required Monitor advancements in brand suitability management and verification capabilities as well as partner compliance with current settings
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a quantitative data-driven field including experience in digital media advertising Experience in working with cross functional teams across multiple marketing disciplines is required.
Experience with data management and taxonomy tools; Claravine experience strongly preferred.
Must be able to multi-task and develop ideas in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Media and agency experience a plus.
Automotive and/or luxury category experience a plus.
Significant client interaction is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Mathematics, or Finance.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with proven data interpretation abilitiesAbility to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ more sophisticated techniques (predictive& prescriptive analytics)Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work across functional areasConfident and curious, not afraid to ask questionsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail, attentive and knowledgeable about user interface issues, and proficiency in quantitative data analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documentsExperience in ad-serving and web analytics tools (Google DFA, Atlas, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
)Strong proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (e.

, spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, graphs, vlookups, macros) required.
