Facilities Associate

Objective:
The Facilities Associate will support all of the ministries of Citizens Church by assisting in the oversight of the facilities and resources of the church so that ministries can carry out the mission without hindrance.
This role requires an individual who thrives in behind the scenes environments and is dependable, takes initiative, and is experienced at problem solving.
This role will report to the Facilities Coordinator and work closely with the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities for this role will vary greatly and will require a flexible schedule.

)Light plumbing work (residential toilet repairs, etc.
)Notify Facilities Coordinator of areas in need of major maintenance or repairsRespond to facility ticket requestsVendor RelationshipsBe available on-site to give access to vendors when neededGive instruction and oversight to vendors when the Facilities Coordinator is unavailableAssess the quality of work being performed by vendors and report any issues to the Facilities CoordinatorAdministration and Volunteer ManagementManage time to balance support between the needs of facilities and ministriesHelp schedule volunteers interested in assisting the facilities departmentAssist in properly training volunteers on work needing to be doneEnsure tasks, communications, and events are well organized, clear and consistentSPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredBasic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and the operation of basic custodial equipment is recommendedBasic knowledge of sheetrock, minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repair is recommendedSelf-starter, learner, flexible and adaptableAbility to communicate effectively (verbal, written, etc.
)Proficient in administrative systems and platforms (e.
g.
Google or Office suite, etc.
)Able to make decisions, problem solve, manage conflict and work well on a teamDemonstrate good time managementFlexible schedule, including nights and weekendsAble to lead volunteersProject and/or event management experience preferred Recommended Skills Administration Business Relationship Management Carpentry Communication Construction Toolkits Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
