Summary:
We are seeking a talented and energetic Senior Workplace Engineer who will help us transform our Digital Workplace.
This role will be primarily focused on modernizing, transforming, and optimizing our computer environment (both on-premises and in the cloud) to ensure maximum value and productivity for our business stakeholders.
Additionally, this role will be heavily focused on endpoint systems architecture and design regarding modern management of Windows 10/11 from operating system deployment to configuration and enforcement of policy through Tanium, SCCM, and Intune.
The successful candidate will have deep knowledge and understanding of the available workplace technologies and will work with leadership and other key stakeholders to migrate our existing SCCM environment to Tanium as well as modernize, simplify, and enhance our end-user environment.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Lead the Workplace in migrating from existing SCCM environment across multiple domains to Tanium endpoint management including setting up security and compliance policies, building a robust software inventory with deployment integration into the company s ITSM platform as well as working with our MSP to manage third-party and Microsoft patching.
Lead the Workplace transformation by defining and managing our technical landscape, technology strategy, and architecture for the End User Compute (EUC) environment.
Accountable for the delivery of desktop management best practices, developing and delivering agile methodologies for windows desktop and device management, and overall software distribution and support.
Engage with End-users, other members of the IT team, IT Business Partners, and key Business Stakeholders to develop solution architecture, and drive changes in workplace technology platforms that best fits the company needs and culture.
Design and build strategic roadmap for technology lifecycle and standards related to all areas of the Desktop Engineering team such as SCCM, Intune (MEM), OSD, GPOs, LAPS, Hardware selection/catalog and Box, acting as the senior point of escalation, technical advisor, and mentor for other systems engineering team members.
Build, test, and deploy desktop and laptop image profiles, and continually evaluate and advance deployment methodologies to maximize efficiency.
Optimize disparate processes among Desktop Management, Mobile Management, and Virtual Desktops to streamline a single Unified Endpoint Management Program.
Interact with manufacturers and vendors to better understand device and service offerings and product limitations and provide quantitative feedback and testing on new desktop management opportunities in the marketplace.
Engage and lead from a technical perspective, all relevant projects.
Teach junior administrators both technical knowledge and best practices for effectively managing and securing endpoints in the organization.
Analyze, respond, and resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner.
Identifying and troubleshoot technical issues as well as performing root cause analysis.
Conduct after-hours maintenance and support as needed.
Required Skills:

This role will cover supporting users in multiple geographies and at times may require up to 5% travel.
Required
Experience:
At least 5 years experience administrating both an SCCM and Tanium environment, as it relates to software deployment, patching and Operating System Deployment At least 5 years experience in administrating Intune for both mobile clients and Windows devices Experience migrating SCCM software packages to Tanium or building new software packages in Tanium.
Experience in managing and troubleshooting policy deployments in both GPOs and Intune Experience in administering Microsoft LAPS and Box Experience in troubleshooting software and OSD installation issues Experience in other technologies such as Box, Citrix, Horizon, VMWare, O365, OneDrive, Teams, Yammer, SharePoint, and Exchange preferred.
Any experience in integrating software deployment with ITSM tools such as Service Now is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in CIS, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience Relevant professional Microsoft certifications preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
