We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Mailroom Lead.
As a crucial member of our organization, you will assist in the day-to-day operation of our fast-paced mail room.
This role involves overseeing mail processes, preparing outbound mail, managing equipment, and providing daily direction and support to the department.

What does a MAILROOM LEAD at GAINSCO? Directs Distribution:
Oversee the distribution of all printed Cancellation Notices, ensuring compliance with postal regulations.
Ensure Cancellations are mailed daily, as this is a critical function in an insurance organization.
Daily Processes Management:
Manage daily processes, including sorting letters/documents by type and using internal mailing equipment (Pitney Bowes).
Operate mailing equipment to fold and insert letters into envelopes and apply postage.
Receive vendors for deliveries and pick-up of outbound mail.
Ad Hoc Mailings and Special Deliveries:
Assist with ad hoc mailings, prepare overnight packages, handle certified mail, and accept deliveries from outbound mail vendors.
What is required? Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of relevant experience in operating Mail Inserting Machines, specifically Pitney Bowes Mailing Equipment required.
Must be familiar with mailroom inserting equipment:
Pitney Bowes Rival, Tabletop Inserter, and Connect Plus Meter machine.
Additional equipment:
Cannone Printers and Computer.
Other skills and abilities:
May be required to lift, push, or pull material up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
Ability to work various shifts or schedules based on business needs.
Strong organization and time management skills required.
Overtime may be required.
What else do you need to know? Must have a valid driver's license.
