GIS Analyst (HYBRID) (DALLAS CANDIDATES ONLY)
RESPONSIBILITIES Produces interactive maps, dashboards, reports, and presentations that brings data to life. Integrates proprietary and subscription-based research data into engaging visualizations for the purposes of business development, external distribution, and client-based products. Responds to internal stakeholder and external client requests for data and information. Proactively searches for new and different data sources that elevates insights. Educates internal and external clients about GIS capabilities and resources. Mines and extracts data from the variety of sources, and data engineering. Customizes interface of ESRI apps and story maps using ArcGIS Online Assistant. Research new approaches to address geospatial data development challenges. Seeks end-user/customer input regarding additional geographic services and enhancements to existing services and processes. Develops, shares and stores best practices. Familiarity with Model Builder, Python Scripting and Machine Learning, open-source platforms like CARTO, and Mapbox a plus.
