years' experience within Controls & Automation Engineering; preferable within Food/Beverage, Consumer Goods, etc.
Strong SCADA experience required; Aveva (Wonderware) preferred Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix); advanced ladder logic programming Strong HMI Development; Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra strongly preferred Solid grasp of Object Oriented Programming principles Experience with Ethernet/IP Communications within a Plant Control System Excellent communication and interpersonal skills MS Office Able to travel up to 25% Plusses:
Experience configuring/maintaining industrial managed switches (Stratix or similar) Wonderware MES (or similar MES platform).
NET programming SQL database/scripting experience Advanced experience with process area programming Education:
Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics
Responsibilities:
Focus on Control System Architecture and be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Control Systems at multiple sites to ensure proper uptime, performance, user access, and security.
Will work on Controls and Automation projects to support installation of new Controls systems components and upgrade of existing Control systems.
Provide remote support for all facilities.
Maintain plant controls and automation systems (PLC and HMI firmware updates) to ensure systems are up to date with regard to features and cybersecurity mitigations.
Maintain Rockwell Software Infrastructure (AssetCentre PLC, HMI asset management & backups, licensing, Studio5000, and FactoryTalk View SE software and staying current on Rockwell patches).
Maintain AVEVA system platform and MES infrastructure including AVEVA patches, automatic galaxy backups, licensing, and technical support.
Develop/maintain configuration for system monitoring tools.
Specify OS, Hardware, Software, and rs Network Configurations on all engineering servers and maintain related documentation.
Approve Microsoft patches for Engineering servers based on compatibility with Rockwell and AVEVA software.
Develop/maintain back-up standards.
Will maintain Control systems networks including Device Level Ring (DLR) technology, industrial Ethernet/IP switch technology, and legacy ICS network technology.
