Sales Merchandiser, Home Depot (Dallas)CategorySalesCountryUnited StatesLocationDallas, TX- RemoteOverviewWe are seeking a self-motivated, self-directed Sales Merchandiser who will be responsible for implementing company-approved merchandising/point of display programs and plan-o-grams at Home Depot storesThe emphasis of this role is selling incremental displays, assessing POS data to identify sales opportunities within regional stores, presenting to store management on insights, securing additional off-shelf display locations, maximizing shelf space, correcting out of stocks, replacing missing product tags, and general merchandising.This home-based position is located in the Dallas, Texas areaIf you are a driven and passionate sales merchandiser, please consider joining our tribe!ResponsibilitiesSell and merchandise all authorized WD-40 Company products by securing incremental off-shelf displays, correcting out of stocks, replacing missing product tags, removing and repairing damaged items, and maximizing in-aisle shelf spaceEnsure that distribution and department plan-o-grams at all assigned customers are maintained and enhanced to meet EBITDA goalsUtilize all available display vehicles such as stack displays, end caps, shelf strips, and clip strips to assist in attaining customer sales and profit goalsAssemble fixtures and in-store displaysProvide up-to-date information on any new competitive activity/ information identified in store.Create and deliver insights-led sales presentations to Home Depot field representatives (Store Manager to Regional Merchandising Manager).Support National Account Managers in the execution of national Home Depot programs.Sell promotional opportunities to Home Depot field Management (Store Manager to RMM) to implement single-store to multi-store promotions.Utilize POS data to ensure adequate inventory and promotional and incremental opportunities.Distribution of approved items and execution of department plan-o-grams at all assigned customers within guidelinesProactively identify and execute merchandising improvements, where possible.Establish and maintain relationships with all critical in-store Home Depot store leadersPartner with store employees to place (re)orders through the typical ordering processProvide product education and support to promotional events when needed.Provide timely, accurate, and complete information concerning competitive territory activity to help increase insight into the retail sales arena.Responsible for timely, accurate handling of paperwork, expense reports, competitive activity, and other special requests as needed.Maintain accurate account records, including call activity, objectives, displays, purchases, and key contacts.QualificationsBig box sale/merchandising with an average of 5 or more stores a day2
