Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Technical Project Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the patching process for our clients, ensuring the seamless integration of updates and patches across their systems.
You will collaborate closely with various teams, including IT, development, and applications, to ensure timely and efficient patch management.
Key
Responsibilities:
Patching Process Coordination:
Coordinate the patching process for clients, including scheduling, communication, and documentation.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding patching activities, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and applications, to facilitate the patching process and ensure alignment with client requirements.
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules for patching activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the patching process, proactively addressing issues and escalating as necessary to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing and validation of patches before deployment to ensure compatibility and functionality across systems.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patching activities, including patch versions, release notes, and implementation details.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and optimize the patching process, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and process improvements.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards related to patch management, implementing appropriate controls and measures to safeguard client data and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a technical or IT environment.
Strong understanding of patch management processes and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.
