The responsibilities for the SrIT Service Desk Specialist include but are not limited to, operational integrity, monitoring and managing tickets, receiving / placing phone calls, and availability during scheduled shift to troubleshoot computer and network equipment for all global end users of the organizationThis is to include desktops, notebooks, software, configurations, and associated peripherals, as well as basic Azure cloud computing supportThis position will include all tier 1 and 2 support functions for the service desk, so the ideal candidate must be able to solve user problems and know who to call to get a problem fixedCandidates must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with others in a team setting, as this role will have desktop support/desk-side interaction with end users and executivesCandidates must have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to deliver white glove customer service and support
Responsibilities:
Answer inbound phone calls, place outbound phone calls, and/or communicate with customers to resolve global end users IT issues Work open tickets that have been assigned, to meet service level agreements (SLA) Support network equipment, LAN/WAN, servers, VPN, desktops, laptops, cellphones, all IT issued hardware, software and mobile devices Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations, and associated systems Support a cloud-based M365 environment, to include Azure cloud services, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Windows support Document network problems and resolution for future reference by service desk staff Skills, Technology, & Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field, and/or at least 6-8 years of IT Technical Support experience, working within a Help Desk / Service Desk enterprise environment 5 plus years working in a Microsoft environment with Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD 5 plus years working with and administering Office 365 / M365, endpoint management with Intune, and Microsoft Defender At least 2 years of experience supporting basic Azure Cloud Services to include:
Server, RBAC roles, resource groups, network security, route tables, Azure virtual desktop, Single Sign-On, and Exchange Online Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Skilled in supporting VoIP phone systems Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and customer service skills Strong analytical abilities with a passion to troubleshooting and identifying root cause IT issues Ability to work in a team as well as independently Preferred Skills &
Experience:
Experience supporting ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred Experience supporting CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and/or Inventor Prior experienced working with Intune MDM - Mobile Device Management, and Autopilot Experience supporting wireless access points, working with Meraki products Prior experience supporting or working for companies within the industrial manufacturing industry would be beneficial Working in a capacity of on-boarding end users and technologies through Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activity Technical Certifications, preferred Experience performing systems administration duties, an added bonus SrService Desk Technician Recommended Skills Active Directory Group Analytical Auto Cad Autodesk Inventor Azure Active Directory Cad Apply to this job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
