Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Producer with a background in construction sales to join our teamThe ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities within the construction industry while also providing exceptional insurance solutions to meet our clients' needsThis role requires a strong understanding of both insurance products and the intricacies of the construction sector.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and target potential clients within the construction industry through market research, networking, and referrals.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, such as construction project managers, contractors, and developers.
Generate leads and follow up on sales opportunities to expand the client base.
Insurance Consultation:
Assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
Educate clients on various insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms.
Analyze existing insurance policies to identify gaps in coverage and recommend appropriate adjustments or enhancements.
Sales and Negotiation:
Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our insurance offerings.
Negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Close sales and achieve targeted revenue goals within designated timelines.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting the construction and insurance sectors.
Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all sales-related documentation, including applications, contracts, and policies.
Adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards governing insurance sales and client interactions.
Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Proven track record of successful sales experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on construction or related sectors.
Strong understanding of insurance products, including property and casualty, liability, and surety bonds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients at all levels.
Solid negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
Relevant insurance licenses required.
