DescriptionJob SummaryThe EPMO Strategy Execution team exists to service MoneyGram by leading the delivery of strategic cross-functional projects that product impactful outcomes for the company.
As a Manager, Project Management at MoneyGram, you will drive and execute on strategic projects for the company.
This position takes an active part in leading a team of project managers as well as leading moderate to large complex projects.
You will oversee all internal & external project functions and activities in addition to program management development and direction within the EPMO IT/Platform supported initiatives.
Collaborate among all critical stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements.
Coordination with the overall program and project teams to ensure key deliverables are timely executed upon.
Partner with technology, product, Go to Market, compliance, etc.
regarding proposed solutions for the organization and ensure timely completion of critical business project milestones.
Primary ResponsibilitiesHires, manages and mentors staff in the execution and coordination of their duties including providing the staff with clear goals and appropriate feedback in order to obtain a high level of performance.
Remediate and escalate key risks and issues prohibiting forward progress on key deliverables.
Responsible to manage the intake of projects from initiation to project close out through understanding of the business needs, its structure, processes, policies and operations.
Collaborate on proposed solutions to ensure fit with the organization, and delivers the expected results that meet or exceed stakeholder requirements.
Ensure business project management methodology is being followed, required document deliverables are produced, status reports, coordination of stakeholder activities, manage the project budget and milestones are reached.
QualificationsEducationBA/BSExperience5
years of management experiences with responsibilities for hiring, performance management and coaching.
Demonstrated experience with project, change management and associated methodologies, techniques, process, approaches, and tools (e.
g.
Project and Portfolio management methodology; Jira, PPM, Confluence, etc.
)Experience in FinTech preferredEssential SkillsOutstanding leadership skills, including a track record of developing distinctive strategic direction, and translating broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans.
Proven track record of championing new initiatives within and beyond the scope of own job.
Hands-on project management experience.
Resourceful, detail oriented, methodical.
Demonstrated time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written; ability to interact with internal and external contacts at all levels of staff and management.
Capability to communicate effectively, concisely and professionally with senior management regarding difficult and complex issues.
Anticipated Base Pay:
$114K-160K (Performance Bonus Target available for this role)Day 1 Benefits to include:
