Ferring is currently launching the first-ever FDA-approved microbiome-based therapeutic.
We are seeking an established and dynamic Regional Account Director to join Ferring s microbiome launch and GI team.
This role will be integral in deploying key account managers to continue a successful first-in-class launch in the C.
diff space, while also activating Ferring s vision for the future of microbiome-based therapies and maintaining Ferring s current Gastroenterology portfolio.
The Regional Account Director leads the key account manager team and is responsible for the selection, management, and professional development of direct reports to achieve all milestone and business objectives set forth.
The Regional Account Director also establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key internal and external customers to achieve sales goals and business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Build, lead, coach and develop high performing members of Regional sales teams.
Embrace brand strategy and apply it to drive Regional sales and achieve plans of action.
Analyze and understand markets and customers; use this knowledge to drive recommendations for future programs and training.
Participate in Sales field rides; develop employees based on results.
Identify new, unique and profitable business opportunities.
Create, own and develop business relationships with key customers and accounts.
Monitor and manage Regional sample allotments, travel and expenses.
Leverage learning opportunities and share results with stakeholders within Region.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years in pharma or specialty sales leadership with a minimum of 2 years of documented success as an institutional sales leader required.
Experience should include deep knowledge and proven success in hospital sales and local / regional systems required.
Prior job experience in regional / national accounts, marketing, market access, analytics, training or related roles is preferred.
Product launch experience is required.
Experience with buy and bill outpatient facilities required.
Infectious disease or Gastroenterology experience strongly preferred.
Experience with account planning including tools, resources, and reporting preferred.
Extensive travel is required to perform job duties.
Achieve or exceed sales objectives.
Hire, motivate, develop and retain talent.
Resides within assigned geography.
Sitting approximately 3 4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile up to 60% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
Walking up to 15% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
Climbing stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories where the use of public transportation may be necessary during the workday.
Standing, more than 1 -2 hours at a time.
Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling items such as laptop, iPad, printed material, and product samples weighing up to 20 pounds, into and out of a car, train or airplane and into physician offices and/or medical facilitiesLocation:

Our Compensation and BenefitsAt Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.
The base salary range for this role is $185,250 to $271,700, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location.
Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions - payouts are based on individual and geography/company performance.
Benefits for this role include:
comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.
5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.

For roles that are not field-based, Ferring has a policy that allows employees to work up to two days from home and three at a Ferring site, weekly.
