Machine Shop Supervisor (On-Site) - Horsham, PA

Step into the role of Machine Shop Supervisor and drive operational excellence within our manufacturing environment.
You will coordinate closely with the manufacturing manager, supervisors, production, and quality control teams.
Your key responsibilities will include managing department productivity, overseeing equipment maintenance and upgrades, and ensuring work quality.
Key
Responsibilities:
Oversee production machining operations to fabricate proprietary product parts.
Apply expertise in machining processes and tooling for effective production of prototypes, jigs, and fixtures.
Ensure output adheres to strict specifications and tolerances.
Schedule and allocate work based on production timelines and demands.
Promote process and tooling improvements in collaboration with vendors.
Manage staffing, including hiring, performance reviews, and adherence to work rules.
Lead unionized labor, maintaining motivation and fostering team spirit.
Facilitate engineering changes and work with the engineering team on process enhancements.
Ensure parts comply with specifications through vendor collaboration.
Coordinate across departments to achieve on-time project delivery.
Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and union agreements.
Handle daily labor reporting and administrative tasks using Microsoft AX.
Requirements:
High School Diploma with a Technical Degree or an Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum 7 years supervisory and 5 years hands-on CNC/manual machining experience.
Proficient in CAD/CAM, ideally Master CAM, with strong Microso ft AX and Office Suite skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
