We need YOU to be part of that journey by filling a new and critical role at Kofile Job Description Use your analytical, technical, and collaboration skills to design, implement, and manage a master production schedule that delivers successful customer outcomes while optimizing company revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with executive leadership, production, and sales to deliver wins for your company and your colleagues.
The Job to be Done:
Develop and maintain a multisite master production schedule by reviewing incoming projects, evaluating resource availability, and establishing prioritization frameworks.
Maintain standards that accurately forecast production rates through multi-step operations.
Partner with functional leaders to plan, forecast, and continuously improve production workflow.
Regularly get input from operations leaders on schedule feasibility.
Ensure allocation of projects to facilities to optimize capacity, capabilities, cost and responsiveness.
Forecast material and labor requirements based on production schedules.
Identify risks and conflicts in production plans and develop potential solutions.
Collaborate and facilitate conversations with sales operations and finance on pre-production planning priorities and incorporate results into production schedules.
Regularly publish the master schedule to executives, sales leadership, and production with context on production progress and identified KPIs.
Assist operations leaders in controlling production costs by identifying underutilized resources and / or waste generated through operation.
Continuously improve tools and processes to scale the business.
Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics to ensure schedule and delivery adherence.
Qualifications The ideal candidate:
Must live the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but some remote work is available.
3-5 years' experience as a Master Scheduler in a production environment.
Bachelor's degree in business or STEM-related discipline preferred.
Supply chain certification preferred (CPIM/CSCP) Experience using technology to create and run optimization programs.
Intellectual curiosity that drives exploration of new tools and methods to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
Self-starter mentality but willing to take direction.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Enjoys collaborating to find ways to make ideas work rather than reasons they will not.
An ability to explore critical software deployed by the company, mine for data, and make requests and recommendations for changes/updates to improve outcomes.
Ability to thrive under stress and demands of multiple parties, and to seek help and assistance when blocked.
Leads via problem solving and critical thinking.
Analytical mindset and thought process.
