RFAB is TI's and the worlds first 300mm analog Fab. This provides an excellent opportunity for delivering world class analog products.
Job responsibilities may include:
Perform lot & equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing wafer Fab running Analog Technologies. Identify systematic process and/or equipment issues and communicate findings and potential resolutions to the engineering staff for continuous improvement. Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs), and participate in data analysis and problem resolution. Develop efficient low cost solutions to drive world class quality given aggressive ramp timeline. Process characterization and integration as it pertains to process-device interactions. Troubleshoot process and equipment issues; define experiments that lead to improvements in yield, cycle time and world class cost. Work within teams to solve multi-variable process integration problems. Responsibilities may also include direct involvement with new technology development and qualification. Work with the Etch Team to complete tasks given aggressive timelines and schedules. Use SPC, statistics, and DOE to analyze data. Work as a member of the RFAB engineering team in conjunction with the manufacturing, facilities, quality, and PI/PDE organizations in RFAB. Work closely with manufacturing on a daily basis. Work with PI/PDE Team on parametric shifts and process yield issues. Develop innovative solutions to drive the highest quality at the lowest cost. Maintain controlled processes and equipment that meet customer and cost requirements. Identify methods for improving yield, reducing cycle time and cost. Provide good written and oral communication of issues and problem resolution.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, physics or related area of study
- Must have 5 years experience in Etch Process and Equipment knowledge
- Must have a strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release methodology
Additional preferred skills and knowledge:
- Previous wafer Fab and/or startup experience.
- Experience with 300mm wafer size is a plus.
- Knowledge of AMAT, TEL, Lam Etchers is a plus.
- Ability / willingness to work in a team environment to the Fab goals
- The ability to analyze electrical parameters and yield is a plus.
- Ability to quickly gather and analyze data to resolve issues, and develop new processes when deficiencies are identified.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
- Ability to effectively deal with a dynamically changing environment.
- Must be able to communicate and effectively work with others on cross functional teams.
- Must be able to work with aggressive timelines and drive for timely results that meet or exceed Fab goals.
