The candidate will interface with field sales, regional price execution teams and product lines to win new designs and book business at the best possible price. The candidate also has the chance to travel domestically and internationally to meet with product groups, regional pricing teams, and customers/distributors.
In this role, the candidate is responsible for price setting, pricing maintenance, and price escalation approvals.
The pricing manager will be accountable for effective pricing curves (guidelines) that align with product group(s) strategies and market conditions. The pricing manager is expected to have good understanding of the product portfolio, competitive landscape and to initiate strategies to align with growth and profit goals of his/her respective business.
This pricing manager will be accountable for quote escalation approval and has authority for the business he/she supports. Key metrics will be tied to pricing effectiveness relating to the product group's net revenue and profit growth goals.
The candidate should have good communication, analytical and business acumen skills.
The ability to communicate effectively, influence, and collaborate with different levels and aspects of TI's business is a must.
This pricing manager should have strong understanding of pulling and analyzing business data and will have some reporting function as a part of the role. He/she will be involved in whole product life cycle - from RTM (Release to Market) to obsolescence processes. This manager is expected to take a lead role in training others on new pricing systems and business processes.
It is essential that this pricing manager is capable of analyzing market pricing, competitor pricing, and product positioning in alignment with Product Group strategies. An understanding of different product space strategies regarding market positioning and growth goals will be key to success. The ability to use pricing systems and establish price segmentation will be critical in attaining business unit financial goals.
This position is an individual contributor; but it provides a unique opportunity to build relationships across a broad range of business functions (sales, marketing, distribution, product group leaders, and regional contacts).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree - engineering degree and/or MBA a plus

years experience - including understanding of channel (supply chain), business processes
of Experience related to quoting/orders, pricing systems, and product lifecycle management
